Boiler is a kind of equipment that uses the heat released by the combustion of fuel to heat the water in the container, and its function is to convert the chemical energy of the fuel into heat energy.

The boiler consists of two parts: a pot and a furnace. A pot is a container for water, consisting of a pot cylinder or many steel pipes; A furnace is a place where fuel is burned. The high-temperature flue gas produced by the combustion of fuel in the furnace transmits the heat of the flue gas to the water in the pot through three forms of heat transfer: heat conduction, convection and radiation.

A furnace is a place where fuel is burned and does not include a container (i.e. a pot) for water.

On the basis of the above analysis, steam and superhot water boilers and superhot water boilers are classified under heading 84.02; Include hot water boilers for central heating under heading 84.03; To include domestic furnaces under heading 73.21; Non-domestic furnaces are included under head 84.17.
