Hello everyone, I am Mr Liu from Walkedsea International Freight, today I would like to talk about how to classify positive displacement pumps and centrifugal pumps.
What is the difference between positive displacement pump and centrifugal pump? How do you classify it?
Positive displacement pump is a pump that relies on the working element to do reciprocating or rotating movement in the pump cylinder, so that the working volume alternately increases and decreases to achieve the suction and discharge of liquid.
Positive displacement pumps are classified into the corresponding subhead under subhead 8413.1-8413.6 according to their use, structure and working principle (equipped with metering devices, manual, internal combustion engines, concrete, reciprocating, rotary, etc.).
Centrifugal pump is a pump that relies on the centrifugal force generated when the impeller rotates to transport liquid.
When classifying centrifugal pumps, first consider whether they meet the uses listed in subhead 8413.1-8413.4, if they meet the uses, they should first be classified into the corresponding subhead according to their uses; If it does not meet the purposes listed in Subhead 8413.1-8413.4, it shall be classified in the corresponding subhead under subhead 8413.7 according to its principle of operation.
